Atlanta facial plastic surgeon Dr. Theresa M. Jarmuz recently won the Woman of the Year award from the National Association of Professional Women.
Atlanta, Georgia (October 2011) – Dr. Theresa M. Jarmuz of Buckhead Facial Plastic Surgery was recently named Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW ) for her excellence and commitment to advancing her field in facial plastic surgery in Atlanta. The annual honor is awarded to a professional woman who exhibits outstanding leadership, is highly accomplished professionally, and who is committed to community involvement.

Dr. Jarmuz’s recognition comes because of her work, both in and outside of her facial plastic surgery practice. Beyond her practice, she has taught facial plastic and reconstructive surgery to the Residents at the Emory University School of Medicine, where she holds an academic appointment of Clinical Instructor in the department of Otolaryngology. Teaching residents the latest techniques for facial plastic and reconstructive surgery is just one of the many ways in which Dr. Jarmuz is dedicated to advancing her field. She also conducts research, has won awards in wound-healing and injectable fillers, has authored multiple publications, and lectured nationally.
