Julia Kerolus, M.D.

Dr. Julia Kerolus is a facial plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the head and neck. She has dedicated training and special interest in sophisticated facial nerve reanimation surgery as well. She is also passionate about non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments that will enhance your results.

Dr. Kerolus earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. She went on to complete a five-year residency program in head and neck surgery at the prestigious University of Illinois Hospital. She then completed an American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship in Beverly Hills with renowned facial plastic surgeons Dr. Paul Nassif and Dr. Babak Azizzadeh. Recently, Dr. Kerolus worked at the University of Illinois Division of Facial Plastic Surgery as the director of the Facial Nerve Center.

Dr. Kerolus is committed to giving each patient sensitive care while restoring and enhancing natural facial form and function. She is also dedicated to global patient care and has participated in various overseas outreach projects that provide surgical care to underserved groups. Her research is focused on the treatment of facial paralysis, quality improvement in patient care and worldwide healthcare delivery.
